This is right in front of my house. You can hear the sea gulls in the back ground & sounds of people working at the fish plant. Not such a nice day but I love it when the gulls are in the cove, sounds nice.

Get a behind the scenes look at what is happening at Terra Nova National Park of Canada. This fast paced medley of images depicts aspects of Terra Nova’s ecological integrity monitoring program and encourages viewers to get involved in park monitoring activities.
Catch a glimpse of rare animals like the Newfoundland Marten and Woodland Caribou or the more common black bear, snowshoe hare and moose. View the spectacular combination of dense boreal forest, rushing rivers and sheltered seas that create the breathtaking landscape of Terra Nova National Park of Canada.
Terra Nova National Park is located on the east coast of the island of Newfoundland, approximately 250km west of the capital city of St. John’s. It protects an area where the long fingers of the sea reach into the heart of the island’s boreal forest. The park is approximately 400km2, 70% of which is boreal forest. Black spruce and balsam fir trees dominate the terrestrial landscape. The rugged coastline is deeply indented with islets, estuaries, cliffs and coves. The rocky headlands feature sea arches and caves.
