This place is renowned for its great festivals, but the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival in St. John’s is definitely one of the most iconic. Held in beautiful Bannerman Park, it attracts visitors by the thousands and diverse, world-class artists from far and wide. As one of the continent’s oldest running musical festivals it embodies the absolute best of folk and Celtic culture: dancing, performance, arts, crafts, food and, of course, truly great music.
