A week ago I visited my friend at her home, the home of the Brookside Newfoundlands. Four of her five dogs are the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, maybe great-great-grandchildren of my Lola who passed away four years ago at age 13. I asked her to do introductions so I could sort out the family tree.

Thanks, they are all gorgeous. I feel like a proud grandma, because four of those five are the descendents of my Lola (Ch Tabu Seabrook Nobelle Prize ROM). But unfortunately, they are not mine. They belong to my friend Becky, who is holding the camcorder. BUT … I think Bubba will be a member of our family by December. He might retire with me. I’m so excited! I’ve been Newfless for four years.
