Shed not so much. About as much as any normal big dog. But honestly, they do drool a lot. More than any dog I’ve ever had. But they’re worth it.

I have a newfoundland dog and it is GORGEOUS. It drools alot, so our walls are covered in slobber from when it shakes its head.. Lol. Its not nice haha. But the dogs themselves are wonderful, very fluffy and affectionate.. Its worth buying one but they cost from 1000-2000 pounds and are very hard to look after.

Some Newfies drool, …
Some Newfies drool, and some don’t. It depends on the breeding. Since its a pet store dog it will probably drool. As for shedding, you need to brush them a lot. Newfoundlands are a lot of work and not an impulse buy. Please seriously think about it before you make your decision.

Oh, I love that laugh!! Newfies are such amazing, gentle giants. Yours has beautiful markings. Every kid should be able to grow up with dogs, I think it makes us better people.
