RNC Release Video of Paradise Armed Robbery
(ST. JOHN’S), February 13, 2012 — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is requesting the assistance of the general public in identifying the persons responsible for an armed robbery at a ommercial business on Topsail Road in Paradise, NL.
On December 29, 2011 at approximately 9:20 pm, RNC Patrol and Canine Officers responded to an armed robbery at Marie’s Mini Mart in Paradise. No injuries were sustained during the commission of this offence.
One suspect remained in the doorway of the business, while the other suspect entered the store armed with a knife and demanded cash. They both then fled the scene. Both suspects had their faces concealed during the armed robbery.
The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate this armed robbery and is seeking the assistance of the general public. Anyone that has information that would assist in identifying the persons responsible or anyone that may have any information in relation to this crime is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). On March 20, 2012 at approximately 10:30 PM, RNC Officers from Patrol, K9,
Forensic Identification Section and the Criminal Investigation Division responded to an armed robbery at Needs Convenience in St. John’s. No injuries were sustained during the commission of this offence.
The suspects entered the store armed with a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene. Both suspect’s faces were concealed during the armed robbery.

(ST. JOHN’S), January 17, 2012 — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit is requesting the assistance of the general public in identifying the persons responsible for an armed robbery in Conception Bay South and an attempted armed robbery Mount Pearl, NL.
On January 11, 2012 at approximately 3:30 am, RNC Patrol Officers responded to an armed robbery at Irving Service Station in Manuals, CBS. Two female suspects entered the store armed with a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene. Both females had their faces concealed during the armed robbery. RNC Criminal investigators believe that these same two females and a third person were also involved in an attempted armed robbery at Ches’ Restaurant on Commonwealth Avenue in Mount Pearl two hours earlier. There were no injuries sustained during either incident.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the two female suspects or the unidentified male from the Irving armed robbery, who is a person of interest in these investigations, is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
