Does anyone know of any good newfoundland breeders in scotland?

Filed under: Newfoundland — admin @ 8:19 am

Me and my family have been trying to find a good Newfoundland breeder for a while now but we are not having much luck. We have done a lot of research on them but we are not very good at telling the difference between puppy farmers and proper breeders. The only clues we have are the difference in price between the two and the options of being able to see the parents or not. Any answers would be a great help! Thanks.

Have you contacted Kennel Club registered breeders? A good breeder will let you visit their dogs and should have spacious (especially for Newfies) and clean accommodation, and have a waiting lists for pups. Good breeders don’t always have puppies available for sale!

Have you contacted the Newfoundland Club? http://www.thenewfoundlandclub.co.uk Or tried the Dog Rescue Pages? http://www.dogpages.org.uk
